Sunflowers

The highlight of the weekend is sure to be our sunflower field.  Enjoy our spectacular views and enjoy a walk or take pictures of your friends and family enjoying the beauty around them. Cut a bouquet to beautify your own home as well.  Children and adults of all ages will enjoy all the activities we have to offer.

                              Corn Maze
Our corn maze will be in a brand new place this year, and thanks to the hard workers at the UC School Law, the maze is bigger and better than ever! Learn some corny fun facts, ring the maze bell, or even be crowned the Corn King!  Come be surprised and entertained with a twisty, turny trip through the corn rows!

                                                   Music and Dance Performances

Enjoy traditional clog dancers and music from the Appalachian region of our America.  On Saturday, the Country Steps Clog Dancers will perform traditional clog and Appalachian dance steps and are sure to entertain all.  On Sunday, the Waldrons will perform traditional Appalachian music ranging through various time periods and styles. These musicians will have you up and out of your seat and dancing in no time with their upbeat music!

Kids' Activities
Hey kids .. have you ever searched for a needle in a hay stack?  This year at the Sunflower Festival, kids will have the opportunity to jump in the hay, and pull out a prize!  Paint a pumpkin, rope a steer, play corn hole and ladder golf.  Dig in the soil with antique farm tools, see our old tractors as always, visit with our friendly animals! ($2.00 additional charge for pumpkin painting)

Pumpkin Patch
Autumn is the season for pumpkins and here at the Farm we will have plenty.  Feel free to walk through our pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkin, just in time for Halloween. We have pumpkins large and small, and some great photo spots right in the patch!  This year's pumpkin patch is located right near the hayride stop so you won't have to carry your pumpkins so far!

Hay Rides
Traditional Hay Rides will be given throughout the Sunflower Festival.  Open to all ages, children and adults alike will love taking a ride to the sunflower fields and pumpkin patch on one of our hay wagons!  Catch the right wagon, and you'll get a ride from our mules, Jim and George!

Craft Vendors

In a repeat of last year's popular offering, we've invited craft vendors to participate in our Sunflower Festival!  Browse our craft fair ... start your holiday shopping early and support these local artisans!

Pumpkin Slingshot

Test your arm (and your aim!) with our new Pumpkin Slingshot!  Newly designed and built by our friends at GE Aviation in Evendale, this baby is wound up and ready for action! The pumpkin slingshot is safe for kids of all ages, so come and give it a try! ($2.00 additional charge for pumpkin shooting.)
