Little Dog Lost (And Found) at
Gorman Heritage Farm
Cashew, a one year-old Sheltie Mix dog has been under foster care
at the Evendale-Blue Ash Pet Hospital since
January.
On Wednesday, May 16, Cashew was taking a walk with his handler on the GHF
trails. He slipped his leash and took off - he continued to give
searchers the slip for nine days, until he finally got hungry enough to walk
into a humane trap on Friday, May 25. He survived his big adventure
unharmed, if a little thinner. Cashew is still in need of an adoptive
home, but will undergo some behavioral therapy first. If you are
interested in taking Cashew, either by adoption or for foster care, please call
Julie at the Evendale-Blue Ash Pet Hospital. She can be reached at 513-563-6663.

GETS PRODUCE WASHING STATION
Eagle Candidate Evan Gallant (Troop 940, West Chester)
recently completed his Eagle Project - a produce washing station located behind
the Interpretive Building at the Farm. Associate Director Sandra Murphy,
shown here receiving the station from Evan, is pleased with the donation. "This
will be a great addition to our garden area. Having a separate place to wash
produce will make things a lot easier for our staff and volunteers." To learn
more about Evan's project, check our
Scrapbook.
