ABOUT GORMAN HERITAGE FARM

Scrapbook

R-I-NGO!
There was a farm that had a horse, and Ringo was his name-o!

WE are the Farm, and WE HAVE a horse, and RINGO really is his name!
Ringo is a Haflinger draft horse - a smaller cousin to the some of the larger draft horses we're used to seeing.

Ringo will spend a little time on his own, getting used to life at the Farm, then he'll be put into training to pull a wagon and do some demonstration plowing.

As you can see by the photo, Ringo and Livestock Manager Emily Miller have struck up an instant friendship!  If you have questions about Ringo, please e-mail Emily.

 Ringo Gets a Job! - December 14th, 2007

Here are the first photos of Ringo, our Haflinger draft horse, at work.  He pulled the little cart all around the farm with great enthusiasm, and was clearly in his element. Don't miss our Draft Horse Day training class on March 16.  See calendar for details.
