TRACTOR JAM 2009!
We need a new tractor ... you need great entertainment!

Saturday, August 1, 2009
  2-9:30 PM

MEET "JAMMER"

Jammer is the official Tractor Jam mascot, and he has vowed not to move from his place in the Gorman Heritage Farm lobby until we reach our sponsorship goal of $20,000.

We're well on our way, so won't you please do your part to help us achieve this very important goal.

We'll fill in the color blanks as sponsorship donations come in, and post updated photos regularly.

Why is Tractor Jam important?

When siblings Jim and Dorothy Gorman donated their beloved family farm for public use in 1996, they included the equipment Jim used on the farm.  The great part about that donation is that we have a collection of vintage Oliver tractors, and the bad news is that we have a collection of old Oliver tractors! These machines have reached the age where they should really be retired and preserved for their historic value, yet we need to keep them in daily operation.  The race is on to raise money for newer equipment before we lose these treasures of Americana altogether.

How can my company benefit from Tractor Jam sponsorship?

In addition to being recognized as a company that truly understands and values the mission of Gorman Heritage Farm and the importance of preserving the agricultural history of our region, your company may receive:

  • Inclusion in our publicity materials including posters, radio advertising, t-shirts and event signage.

  • Sponsors at a level of $1000 or higher are invited to have a booth at the event, giving them direct contact with an estimated 2500-3000 community-minded country music fans. These sponsors will also receive pavilion tickets to Tractor Jam.

  • Major sponsors at the $5000 level will be invited to place their logo banner on the Tractor Jam stage.

How can I support Tractor Jam?

In addition to coming to the farm out and enjoying Tractor Jam on August 1, there are several ways you can support Tractor Jam:

Make a donation of cash or goods.
To ensure that funds raised from Tractor Jam can go directly to the farm, we need to raise money to cover the expenses of putting on this event.  Sponsorship opportunities start at just $100 for individuals and $500 for businesses.  Get more information by downloading a donation form or click here to donate online. We also need supplies, such as concession items, logistical help and the like.  To offer goods or services, please contact event manager Vicki Foster.

Donate to our "Home & Farm" Raffle
Times are tough, and everyone
could use a little help taking care of their home and yard, so we're putting together an appealing list of raffle gifts. Your gift of home-related products, tools, goods & services will help sell tickets, and may just gain you some new customers!

Better yet, make it YOUR Home and Farm Raffle!   Can you business donate a lawn tractor, landscaping package, home repair or other prize valued at $1000 or more?  If so, we'll make you the title sponsor of the raffle and our promotions will all reflect your generosity.

Feel lucky?  Buy your raffle tickets online!
