2024 Camp Season

Camp Counselor positions, Aftercare Leader positions and Counselor-in-Training positions are now open!

Do you love working with children and being outside? Do you want to inspire a love of farms, animals, nature, and cooking?

Gorman Heritage Farm is a 122-acre educational farm with a mission to educate about agriculture, nutrition, sustainability and the environment.  We run 10 weeks of summer day camp each summer across our farm, with activities ranging from farm animal care and handling, gardening, cooking, and outdoor skills such as navigation and hiking.

Please take a look at our 2024 Camp Registration guide which can be found here.  Successful camp staff have a desire to learn about our farm and its animals and a desire to share their passion for summer camp with young people.

We welcome your application for leadership positions in our summer farm camp!  The following positions are available; click on the job title to read the job description in full.

Summer Camp Counselor/Environmental Education Intern must be at least 16 years old

Counselor-in-Training (CIT) –  three week volunteer position (can be non-consecutive)-must be at least 14 years old

Summer Camp Aftercare Leader – must be at least 16 years old
